A&E Trailers

Every A&E Trailers VIN follows the standard 17-character NHTSA format:

• Positions 1–3 (WMI): One of the WMI codes above — identifies A&E Trailers as the manufacturer and gives the country of assembly.
• Positions 4–8 (VDS): Encodes vehicle-specific attributes such as body style, engine type, and series.
• Position 9: NHTSA check digit — a mathematical value used to verify the VIN is valid.
• Position 10: Model year code — a letter or digit per the NHTSA year table.
• Position 11: Assembly plant code — one of the plant letters above.
• Positions 12–17: Sequential production serial number.
